Extensions / Menu and mask changes
The two fields for body weight have been moved and slightly renamed. You will now find the required fields on the basedata page:
-
Body weight at the time of reference dialysis
- Body weight at the time of reference dialysis unknown
The required unit of the laboratory value ferritin has changed. The required unit is now µg/l (the previous unit was ng/ml)
If there is a dialysis-associated complication, you will now find three additional data fields.
Please always select one of these if you have answered YES to the first box.
The "effective dialysis duration" must now be entered in three cases.
- Haemodialysis
- Haemodiafiltration
- Haemofiltration
The type of access must now also be documented in the three cases.
- Haemodialysis
- Haemodiafiltration
- Haemofiltration
A new data field has been added. When asking about comorbidities, the presence of an HIV infection must now also be documented.
Also new on the page is a selection menu for the question about multi-resistant germs. The field has also been slightly renamed.
Some fields have been renamed:
- Comorbidities -> Comorbidities/ Findings
- Essential (primary) hypertension -> arterial hypertension
- Bacterial infection with pathogens with particular antibiotic resistance -> known colonization with multi-resistant germs
- Other diseases -> other diseases that affect dialysis treatment
- Was a reference dialysis performed in this quarter? -> Was a dialysis treatment carried out as reference dialysis in this quarter?
Notes
The field "other illnesses" had to be changed to "other illnesses affecting dialysis treatment" for 2023. This is often certainly a difference and can lead to a different answer, but it is a requirement for 2023 from IQTIQ. As the data for this field is transferred from the previous quarter, please pay particular attention to it, as a manual correction will unfortunately often be necessary.
As the interface to the IQTIG is not yet available to us, validation is not yet possible.
The new unit µg/l could not yet be saved for the ferritin value. This has now been fixed and you can work as usual.
Values from the previous quarter are provided for the comorbidities. However, the question about HIV infection did not previously exist, so something has to be selected here. This did not work correctly last week, but as of today you can also fill in this field and save the history data.
Another change on the page is a selection menu for the question about multi-resistant germs. Previously, depending on YES or NO selection in the previous quarter, the following was presented:
YES -> Positive findings known
NO -> Negative findings known
Previously it was not possible to select "No findings known" or to change anything in this field. This has been fixed and you can now use the field as desired.
